Eurkash

Deva Racing are delighted to offer shares in Eurkash. Eurkash used to be trained by Paul Webber in Banbury. He will now be trained by James Owen in Newmarket. 

Form

A half-brother to the Listed-placed French chaser Urkashe(Clety), Eurkash was bred in France and made his racecourse debut in a Warwick bumper in April 2018. After three outings in that sphere, he was sent over hurdles during the 2019/20 NH season and displayed promise on several occasions, before going chasing the following winter.

Third at Hereford on his first start over the larger obstacles, Eurkash came good when tackling 2m1f on his second chase start at Bangor. Given a positive ride by Gavin Sheehan, he was driven to the front before the final fence and pulled clear on the run-in to record a highly impressive five and a half-length victory.

He is effective from 2m to 3m and on all sorts of ground, so has the versatility to go with his surefooted jumping technique.
